Light Up Chinatown

In collaboration with the Chinatown Foundation, and GoGivers Foundation bringing together 200+ youth.

Partnering with the Chinatown Foundation, YFAR hosted a dim sum luncheon and Chinese-Canadian history scavenger hunt, engaging 200+ students. The scavenger hunt explored issues like the Canadian Pacific Railway and Asian-Canadian struggles, fostering empathy. Complementing this, the Gogivers Foundation distributed dim sum, celebrating Asian cuisine and aiding the downtown east side community. These unified efforts exemplify compassion, cultural enrichment, and positive change, highlighting the impact of collaboration for a more inclusive tomorrow.
